18 weeks......:)

I can't believe I am 18 weeks already. It seems to be going slow some days and faster others. Knowing that I am almost half way done just amazes me! Thank You God for getting me this far. I never want to take for granted this gift He has given me.
I went to the doctor 3-11-10 and after a while I finally saw the doctor. I was telling her of the pain I am still having so she wanted to do a cervical exam to see if she could feel anything. She moved my uterus over  (probably TMI but gotta tell the full story) to see if caused pain and I literally screamed. It was extremely painful. So she pushed all around the painful part to see if she could feel anything that was causing the pain and to see if I had a hernia. She thought that it might be a hernia but she couldn't feel one so she wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure.
My sono tech and I have become very good friends. She sees me every few weeks so we know each other pretty well by now. I feel so bad b/c she was so busy and they had to fit me in. And we ended up waiting about 2 hours at the doctors office b/c they were so busy but we got to see our little girl once again. That never gets old. She is so much bigger. I love watching her. She was moving A LOT!!!

We ended up not getting a lot of answers b/c they couldn't find anything. The major rule out was round ligament pain b/c it was not as low as round ligament pain is. So the only thing my doctor said it could be maybe be was torn or strained stomach muscles which you can't see in ultrasounds. There is not a lot you can do for that except relax every chance you get and take tylenol when the pain gets bad. So I walked out feeling great about Skylan but still having a hard time not getting answers. Like I had said before I am getting more use to the pain so it is not as bad but I will continue for the pain to completely go away!!

I feel like one day I had no belly and then woke up there it was:) I seriously love it!! I am extremely itchy on my belly and I actually am already getting up 6 to 7 times a night. Yucky!! I seriously need a catheter already and I know it only gets worse!! I have already grown since thursday but I will wait and post pictures soon!!


This week God has shown me a lot from the womens bible study I am in. He showed me that I need to start some pruning in my life before this little girl gets here. My daughter will hear everything I do and I need to get rid of some things. I have already quit watching RR movies but it just became very clear that it was not for me (which is just a personal thing for me) It hurts  my eyes and ears to much. Also I had been watching a soap..... yes I said soap...... for probably 13 years. Days of our Lives was just apart of my everyday life but I felt God telling me to prune it out so last week it was done and over w/. I haven't missed it AT ALL!! I know it was God b/c he made it so easy for me. I know it sounds really dumb but think something you have done everyday of your life for `13 years. It just becomes habit! But hopefully God will contue to reveal things to me so I could be a great example for my sweet girl. I pray everyday God molds me into a better person and Mom!
